@3Sciencenut Exactly. People are imperfect, so it is dangerous to give one group of imperfect people authority over another group-especially since those in power become more vulnerable to corruption
-
That is indeed true, I have recently figured this out and you are absolutely right
-
the key problem in a collectivist argument is that they "worship" govenment, so they see government as some faraway benevolent god, and they dont realize that people in power are human beings just like them....

Excellent video.
Free-Market Anarchism/Self Government is the most responsible for of governance there is. It takes self respect & the respect of others to be truly free and a True Anarchist. A voluntary Society based on Peace, rather than governments use of coercive force and theft.
peace. love. anarchy

i agree there is Bias, but it is so obviouse that Collectivism is wrong, its like trying to argue that killing puppies is right
-
...in free market economics supply and demand always find a natural equilibrium...maybe the same can be found in a truly free humanity. id say its worth a try

Collectivism has failed though all throughout history. Even the Pilgrams had a collectivist plan at first. It failed and almost lead to the failure of the colony. Then William Bradford scraped collectivism and the colony thrived. That is what we know today as Thanksgiving. The USSR and Eastern Bloc failed after decades. China is becoming more capitalist too. He is pointing out why indivualism is better than collectivism. I do see the bias and there shouldn't be but no one can remove all bias.
Individualism is often confused with selfishness. In fact it is the opposite. Collectivism is actually more selfish than individualism. Some of the most selfish people I've known have been collectivists.

So many have been indoctrinated into the collectivist way of thinking through media and public schools that the only way to get them to see the other side of the issue is to show the other side of the issue. If both sides were presented under the positive spin of each side rather than showing the benefits of individualism vs. the negatives of collectivism, then it would hardly get people to open their eyes.
