December 2, 2009. Today the Health and Human Services Committee heard testimony from patients, doctors, religious leaders and representatives of NORML and affiliates about the benefits of medical marijuana. Opposition was minimal, a woman who's daughter died of an overdose, presumably not on marijuana, since she only ever said "drugs." Also Rep. Matt Baker was staunchly opposed. VOTE HIM OUT!
i dont think they voted on it yet.. but they just got a budget set in october... im not sure what that means.. im thinking it is for them to put together a "case" to represent next time they have a meeting.. but i was wondering if anyone could give me information on helping out. they say get in contact with your legislator but then what. what do i say.. hey buddy, vote yes on HB1393????
