Okay, the title is a joke. But, Hurricane Irene did leave a majority of CT and 99% of my town without power for all of yesterday. Even at the time I'm uploading this, almost 70% of my town is still without power. Woo.
I started this on the car ride home from the airport when we passed exit 5 on the highway. I started singing about exit 5 with a tune off the top of my head. I actually really liked it, so I quickly made the intro so I wouldn't forget it. Then when the power was out and I was bored out of my mind, I finished the song with the 2 hours of battery life remaining on my laptop.

If this sounds familiar to you, please let me know. I'm interested in knowing where I subconsciously got it from. :) I did notice that the structure is very similar to that of a Pokemon town. I'm not sure what kind of town would have this song though. :P

And I was without power for only 10 hours. Rather disappointing. The back half barely even hit Staten Island :/

Pretty catchy. Kinda reminds me of something from HeartGold/SoulSilver mixed with Mario. I got the Pokemon vibe right off the bat; idk where Mario came from lol.

Also, I got hit by the hurricane, but I never lost power. I'd say I got pretty lucky there :P
