This video starts out with the gang giving Tory Howard a hard time because his dad went to Las Vegas and locked the bikes up so that he couldn't go riding as some sort of punishment. I tried to catch more footage of Tory complaining about the incident, but he was on to my tactics.
The video then transitions to the battle between Jason French and Joe Russell. At the time, these two were somewhat bitter rivals. French had moved up to the junior class and was doing pretty good while Joe seemed to be perpetually stuck in the middle of the junior class pack.
While the race is going on I notice some interesting spectators and film some of their antics. The one guy with the puffy jacket was frequently entertaining to watch. Ironically, when I rode the Hannegan thursday night series back in 2005 the little boy that he was cheering on was one of the fastest and most aggressive riders in my class. He crashed a lot, so I wouldn't put up much of a fight if he was behind me trying to pass because there was a good chance he would take out both himself and the guy in front of me when he was moving to the front of the pack.
The video ends with me trying to get Tory to execute an emotional outburst about his dad locking his bike up so he couldn't go riding or racing. Poor kid.
