Dave Ward, CWU Deputy General Secretary, explains why it is crucial that you VOTE YES in the national postal ballot.

The Communication Workers Union is undertaking a national ballot of postal workers for strike action.

Royal Mail is trying to impose change by dictate, constantly driving down your terms and conditions and imposing unfair work rates to meet unrealistic local budget demands. Yet you are delivering more mail, handling more work and working harder for longer whilst doubling annual profits. Where's your reward for this?

btw this is for the strikes last year not current ballot. if u dont vote yes in this ballot this will still change everything except youll get no extra pay, maybe lose your job. union has no power anymore.... its hands are tied..... and no in april ballot a no vote will not mean strikes..... will just mean .... nothing... for anyone
