Im 16 5' 10" I swim the 50 fly in 23.27 YARDS. I have not swam it in meters but it would be interesting to try because my walls blow. Did it on state champion relay team! Woot!

Hi Guys - I'm dutch and I did 50 meters Butterfly in 1956 in 26 seconds -
I was 20 % faster than other guys by using TUMPEK invented by an hongarian swimmer and then copied by Atie Voorbij who I saw doing it, and then next day I did it just like that - It's inhaling one time per two strokes and you swimm much more under water like a dolphin - it's beautiful - I wonder if I'm the only now in the world knowing how to do it. - I'm 74 but still able to demonstrate TUMPEK - IT4S HEAVY but fast

that's so cool! i would rather share first with my friend than have it all for myself.

@calx13 As France's Frédérick Bousquet scratched the final, a swim-off to the swim-off tie was not need, and both Godec and Mankoč advanced to the semifinals.

yeah fly then crawl then back then breast
btw i swim the 50 free , 50 fly , 50 breast events :)

butterfly's the fastest stroke only at its peak speed, you dramaticly slow down at the recovery which is why its just slower than frontcrawl
frot crawl(commonly called freestyle) is the fastest followed by butterfly, backstroke and breastroke
