add the Warlord near the body then double click him,
under Orders, set the AlarmTag = WL1, & Orders = Mutilating,
under AI set his Sightradius = 1250 ,, save play enjoy

@starsiegeplayer Yes he will still leave, however he might fire a shot at you too sometimes.

@LeoTCK So after you shot near him, you were visible to him, and he just laughs at you, leaves, and blows up the corpse? If you actually shoot him does he still leave?

@LeoTCK I don't have the beta version, just the original, the final version.
The walkthrough book I have mentions squids as well as the Warlord part. I used to look everywhere for the squid, but I can't. I'll definitely try summoning squids for the fun of it. :)

the WarLord was supposed to fly away & up the canyon to your left

I have this Unreal walkthrough and it reads that I'll encounter the Warlord in Nyleve. It seems like that didn't even happen. Same with the squid enemy's non existence.

@SesakaGenX Squid exists, but is unused in the final version. Just do "summon squid" in water. Did the walkthrough mention squids as well? Didn't know that, but squid was heavily used in the leaked beta version for example.
