From May 22-24, 2007, the former home of the Fresno Metropolitan Museum's Administrative Offices was demolished as part of the Met's continuing renovation project.
The space which housed the building will be turned into an expanded courtyard and garden area. About 96% of the building's materials were recycled following the demolition.
I'm not sure I understand what you're asking. The building was demolished completely.

No, the Museum building is only connected to the old office building by a portion of an addition that is also being demolished, as part of the current renovation project.
