  • His guitar is ergonomic. The bridge, nuts and frets are spread out in an array. This undoubtedly causes less strain on the wrist and makes chords easier to play.

  • Yes, you're right. Actually, I have a video from this concert of him explaining how fanned frets are ergonomic and provide more accurate intonation. You should check it out :)

  • @Rael0505 i think its also to hold drop tunings better if i am not mistaken because he plays in DADGAD. there are a lot of plus's for fanned frets.
