  • This is the best recording of this piece on YouTube, yet there is a hiccup in the recording right at the exact climax moment of the song, around time stamp 12:50.

  • The embodiment of beauty.

  • The inspiration is not solely Tibetan Buddhist. It's musically "based" off Hildegard von Bingen's "Ave Maria, O Auctix Vite." Introduced to this fragmentation and dramatization of the HvB melody is the idea of post-death Buddhist enlightenment.

The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra starts and maintains a faster tempo throughout in their recording with Robert Spano conducting. I much prefer that version to this one.

  • no yelling :(

  • @821Anon Hooray for creative liberties! Sounds wonderful at that tempo.

  • @821Anon i think this is very good timing. think of this piece's theme. Tibetan buddism music itself is very slow.

  • @821Anon what recording told you it was slow?

  • @SuperTheseus What a shame....otherwise it is very high quality.
