FYI, I just did this very job with the usually dull kitchen knife I've always had. The great thing is the knife was VERY sharp because I bought a great little knife sharpener at Aldi grocery store, the Crofton Electric Knife Sharpener. The sharpener cost $15.00 and it works great. They had it in stock this week. My knife worked as well as the knife used in this video. It was great.

damn it I`m 24 and I`ve never done this before... I have killed chickens (lol you know what I mean :P ) but I have never prepared it for making food out of it :))

...hmm, REAL SUBTLE knife add, fella .. seriously, get a real knife before carving chickens, shure it worked, but a decent knife would do the job better.
If your knife wasn't made in Japan, china, or Germany, you bought the wrong knife.
