How different is the manga to the anime?

[HAKUROJAKI]

The mainplot in both versions is the same. But there's some differences: In the manga Jerome doesn't die, humans are more involved, Sniper & some other characters appear and the manga is much longer (60 volumes) ; anime ended when Hougen was beaten and that happened in manga volume 30. After Hougen, came the monkeys, then russian wardogs and in the end the villain was a hybrid bear.

In the other hand, anime included some scenes (etc. the fight against the generals) that weren't in the manga.
