the crackling sound is not from the cam's mic.It started exactly when the audio initiated. I suspect the owner of this TT has the arms weight to heavy and is cactually arving the vinyl. or perhaps he's got an MC cart. going thru a stage with no MC input.

@EffortCorps Ive just ordered a gyro se(black) with tecnoarm and denon dl-103r,would it be a good match together with a trichord dino and dino+psu?

@jayson1173 Tonearm is a Rega RB300 with technoweight (counterweight) and cart is a Lyra Argo i.
-
hi mate, what is the tonearm and cartridge you are using?
-
@daikuone Sorry for the late reply (8 months late!). This TT is now about 2 years old and it's design has changed very little over the years with the only modification being an improved suspension.

Spot on, mate!
The crackling sound is the mic. I should know, I recorded it! The mic on the camera cannot handle loud sounds without crackling. The TT set up is perfect, and sounds perfect.

I use the Dino with only the standard PSU and find it fantastic. The Dino has so many different loading settings that is can be used with virtually any cartridge.
