@Rotis59 It is.

Sounds like it is speeded up!

You know I gotta agree with Gordy this time. Damn good tune, but the backing voices are screeching so wildly that they mess up the sound in the end.
Look Marvin is the genius of Motown whatever he sings.

To everyone on this page: I agree with you entirely! I don't - and never will understand BG's logic. There are groups, as well as music that should have received way more exposure and promotion. Since he loves money so much, he would have been super wealthy off of these classics, but greed oftentimes clouds our vision.

This does sound 1962-ish (the year "That Stubborn Kinda Fellow" and songs similar to this was recorded).

i have to agree. Their 1959-68 yrs had to have been the best.

I still haven't figured out Motown's logic. Before a record would be designated an A-side, B-side, or to get released at all as an album cut it would go before Berry Gordy's panel and he'd take votes. Some of Motown's best material was issued as b-sides, album cuts or not issued at all. For the most part Motown made good decisions when it came to their releases but they dropped the ball quite a few times as well.
