Commuter train between Nevel and Novokhovansk

Small international commuter train is passing through section Nevel - Novokhovansk, about the beginning of May 2006. This train is international because it goes from Velikiye Luki in Russia, to Polotsk in Belarus. Although this train is only 3 cars long, and weighs about 150t, and this is one of the slowest trains, the locomotive used is TEP70 - 6-axle, 4000hp, weight 130t.
There are 2 such trains a day in each direction, this is the afternoon westbound one. Yet, these trains differ not only by time, but also by their route between Velikiye Luki and Nevel.
The locomotive is "dropping notches" (as one says in Russian) about 200-150 m before passing near me, having just reached some speed after stop. Some section of downhill grade here and ahead, but also there is strong wind blowing from behind, and speed of that wind may be close to train's speed. Not a joke: this video was taken while I was sitting between railway and highway with my bicycle, and I had to travel in the opposite direction, i.e. against the wind. And I actually couldn't ride my bicycle against that wind, even using strongest gears, except rare steepest downhill grades, and I had to only walk and push it by.
You can see also that air here is not clear, there was actually some smoke. It was also due to winds: unusual winds from northeast made the weather too dry, and past year's dry grass eventually burnt everywhere in the country, I've seen thousands of trees already burnt along highways and railways, and even dozens of trees just burning as flares :((( And nobody could do anything against fire amplified such a strong wind.
