@maleficentdiva thanks! i get it done at the salon every few months, but if i'm doing it myself, i go for something with "copper" in the name. sometimes "auburn"s can be too brown. i just used a loreal feria copper and liked it a lot.

thanks! i detailed how i did it in other comments below; this is really just a video response to an actual tutorial. but i started by putting it in a ponytail, and that is key. otherwise it's just to saggy to pin each curl.

Actually by the 30's movies had synchronized sound. Everything pre 1928 was silent.

Guys innthe 30s the movies didn't have audio. They help up speech card every few scenes.
