http://www.troutninjatv.com The Trout Ninja hooks a huge grass carp on Trout Ninja "Dirty Pink" Floating Bait. I didn't see any fish on my Smartcast fish finder so I chummed a point. 3 minutes after my first cast I thought "awesome, the trout made it here", but I got one heck of a surprise. Grass carp can bolt like a bonefish in the keys. Enjoy the video. http://www.troutninjatv.com

  • I just bought a garcia reel identical to that one off of ebay. Does it work good?

  • @Joey22496 Compared to a $25 reel today...the old Garcia works good enough. I use mine because it brings back memories. I bought it 35 years ago with money I made mowing my Uncle Frank's yard. And it's traveled with me ever since. Come over to TroutNinjaTV.ocm

  • UglyStik?

  • @xiangliang2 Yes. Good eye. I have several UglyStiks. I can mistreat them and not feel guilty. ~ TN~

  • why is your real taped to your rod

  • @austinnale Years ago I taped my reels to the rods because some pros said it made the rod feel more sensitive to bites and it was easier to balance the reel to the rod. Over the years I'm not so sure it made much of a difference. Thanks for asking. ~ Trout Ninja ~

  • yes, it's not easy to take out bigger grass carps without a net. It is very hard to grab them with one hand.
