ps, the Little Crow occurs periodically in Perth but doesn't breed there.

  • Actually Corvus coronoides ssp perplexus. This is the western form (sub-species) of the Australian Raven. That dying away call is typical of this species.

The four other native Australian Crows differ themselves from each other primarily in their calls (once you become familiar with them). The other Corvus species that occurs in Perth is the Little Crow (Corvus bennetti). This species has a more typical caw.

  • thank you for showing ! it sounds so different from our crows in Europa.....but i like it very much ! i`ll take it in my collection "Crowcallings" thanks *****
