How incredibly disrespectful to call a man of such tremendous stature an idiot! This man played a major role in helping African American have the right to vote in this country. Disagree with him if you so choose, but to call him is an idiot is simply a reflection of the ignorance you so shamefully possess. That is the equivalent of calling Dr. Martin Luther King an idiot. Shame on you for making such a tasteless remark. Your mother musst be very proud.

Mr. Bond fails to articulate how defining marriage is discriminatory.
Marriage inherently makes distinctions between types of relationships. If society ceases to support the basis for these distinctions, the institution of marriage will be damaged. Consequently the public should vote on marriage.
Let us not forget that even gays argue for policies that do not treat all families the same. I was denied insurance for my disabled sister because she was not my lesbian partner.

Bond is one of those "divisive" older people that Obama supporters despise; but he long ago understood the folly of a free and moral society trying to single out one group and make them the One Great Exception to its ideals. Why doesn't the people that are going around gathering signatures to promote hatred and bigotry do something better with their time, something positive?
Can I suggest spending that time volunteering to assist those less fortunate?
