Mr. Slime is an asshat, but I think Donald is trying to be too helpful too soon.
He is giving tips for making improvements to the project when he has not been hired yet. This is futile because Mr. Slime likely has no knowledge of programming and will not consider how Donald could apply his skills to best serve the client.
Donald might be better off stretching the truth about his experience with C# just to get pass Mr. Slime.
