Existence is suffering. Pain cannot be avoided, but it can be transcended. Accept pain as it is, and it is no longer pain, but only another kind of experience.

And to take it a little further...while everything is within, YOU are also an expression of everything...why does a flower bloom? Why does the wind blow? Why do the oceans move? In stillness, the expression of what you are emerges...you are a unique expression of all that it is, just like the flower, winds and oceans. Let that expression emerge and you will "do" what it is that moves you in harmony with all that is. After all, not doing anything is still doing something.

Everything is within. Peace, love, freedom is all within. There is no external source for "happiness" as the experience of "getting what you want" is internal and within you all along, with or without the actual object of the wanting being obtained. Watch all of the clips on youtube from Adyashanti on "the gift of wanting". It adds some clarity to what you already are beginning to understand.

Thank you so much Nielsio! Some say that once you realize THAT you're out the game! Lol! You have beautiful "I"s! Good to know those "I"s are out there, it can be tremendously "lonely" to know THAT and not being able to share it with others, still, we are THAT! Lol!
Dont you worry, even is this kind of "seeing" doesnt reach to many, it sure reached me!! I see you lol! Beautiful...........just beautiful.
Thanx for the insight again!

@llewellynjoshua The problem is that without our shackles we will starve. We need to be enslaved now. Some of us do not like our shackles, true. But we all know deep down that without them we would be toast!
-
@CelticReject We are only slaves when we accept our shackles.
-
Most people are involved in 'This Game' as you refereed to it because they have to pay the bills! We are all slaves.

Zen masters, hindus, buddhists have always known this. In Zen, it's called purposeless, but not as meaninglessness as one might think of in a condescending way, but as in there's nothing to do. Hindus believe life is a drama or a dance of energy, and in a dance, there's no designated spot you aim to be at, the point is the dance. When you sit in meditation, you do realize you are "it." When you cease thought, you then resonate with the divine mind. Search Alan Watts - Music & Life here at Ytube.

@johnTconover why have a 100m yacht? why dont we live a more simple life...20m yatch it would be enough.. :) , nice video Nielsio!!
Nice stroll in the dark there Nielsio, I enjoyed the walk. I share and subscribe to everything you said. You are not alone. Long ago I realized that we are born alone, we live alone (some do it among others) and all die alone. So how could it be otherwise then "You are IT". Thanks for sharing those thoughts and shedding so much light while walking in the dark...:-)

Thanks Jose,
At the same time though, we are not alone. There are so many good things around us and so many people have done great things before us that we can tap into.

Agreed, but it's not it that sense that I meant alone, it's in the sense you were giving in your talk about people constantly seeking a purpose and the need to look for something or someone when in fact they can hardly stand being with themselves because in many cases they never even stopped a moment to think about it. As you say, many run away from doing that because they are scared of the answer. Terrorized is more the word.

I hate ppl like this. Laughing saying ppl aren't happy. Many many ppl live happy lives, because they don't spend their time thinking about stupid stuff like this.

Is hate a sign of happiness?
