A common fault when rowing is the knees falling out to the side on the Recovery. Here is the fault and correction.

  • Regardless of gut size, and I have one, it is important to keep trying to do the proper form. Its a lot easier to not switch than to develop bad habits and form and have to change up later. Flexibility and weight loss come naturally with proper form. Bad habits and bad form take a LOT longer to lose than the weight. Also, proper form helps lose weight faster.

  • Thats all very well but if you've got a belly onya like I got, the outside knee style is the only show in town. Having said that, I've lost quite a bit of paunch since I got my waterrower 2 months ago and I may gradually shift.

  • Have you tried the Waterrower you tool?

  • I used to do knees outside my arms, but then my coach told me to try knees inside, now its knocked about 10 seconds off my 500m
