Iberia Airbus A340-300 EC-HQH performs a dramatic takeoff from RWY 09L of Sao Paulo Guarulhos International Airport. Footage taken at April 29th 2006 from GRU's tower, during ENEAv II 2006. Many thanks to Contato Radar and Mr. Myron Coelho.

  • Esta aí não foi nada! Eu vi, aqui mesmo no You Toba (ops, YouTube!), um vídeo de uma decolagem feita por um 727-200F da VASPEX, QUE COMEU TODA A PISTA 27R PARA SUBIR! Inclusive, pouco depois de se soltar do chão, o trem de pouso do 727 quase bateu no localizador do ILS.

    antes de sbcf o 777 passo longe o a340

  • Its soo slow, take off and also the flight itself. If u compare it with like a 777 the flying time can just be like 30 min longer on a long flight, if not more.

  • it´s strange if the a340 was too heavy ,why it wasn´t with the flaps?i´m not sure but i think that it was with the minimum power requested to take-off without flaps othrwise i realy have no idea.

  • A340-5/6's do not perform impressive and powerful take offs... it has an even longer takeoff run than the other series.

    the airbus a340-300 is an underpowered aircraft , bus 340-500/600 have different and much more powerful engines ( rolls royce trent ) and they perform a very impressive and powerful take off
