I've seen a ton of videos (and made one myself) on bypassing the Windows XP password, but haven't seen any good videos on how to get past a Windows Vista or Windows 7 password yet. I had a tech support call last week where I had to figure out how to do this, so I thought I'd share the knowledge here.

how do you get to command prompt i clicked safe mode command prompt and then it just loads vista goes right back to you win log in screne how do you get it to bring up the window your showin to type it in...really need your help my kid forgot her password on her laptop with vista premium home

@myjizzureye I don't know if you've noticed, or if you're just blind/retarded/trolling, but the word "hack" was in quotations.

In fact, this is a "hack" in that it's a work around. In fact, "hacking" originally didn't have anything to do with computing. To hack simply means: ‘an appropriate application of ingenuity’. That said, the only reason that it is int he title is because people often search for the word "hack" when looking for this solution, so I put it there to make it searchable.
