Come on man. Does it look like that's a suburban neighborhood? I can see the fucking horizon for christ sake.
Bullets dont just keep going if they dont hit a backstop. They lose energy and/or hit the ground in seconds. If you hold a gun level and fire it, and simultaneously dropped a bullet at the same time. The bullet dropped and the bullet fired hit the ground at the same time.

@legato you don't need a permit for a .50 bmg rifle. Some states might make their own law imposing this, but you no longer do.

This is the most powerful PRODUCTION handgun in the world and it has the largest bullet diameter you can find on a production handgun! We all know theres a 600 nitro express out there!
There are a few rifle calibers you can shoot out of a BFR for example 45/70 govt and 450 marlin which produce about the same ammount of energy and in my opinion they normally even have a stronger recoil. a full house 450Marlins recoil is very very stiff in comparison to a 500sw believe me ;)
