  • @jechristian765 Shut up already, that is not how it works, we don't need your conspiracy bullshit.

  • but now russian millionares are buying up finland ,and finns are selling their country because russians pay double prise for property,so finland is soon ex finland

  • @CullTheLivingFlower But I digress the ifs and could haves. My point is that war with Finland and Russians (Winter War) is detached from World War 2. It was a separate conflict, though it had heavy consequences that reached WW2. From this point of view your comments seem uneducated.

  • @CullTheLivingFlower If Finland had fallen 1939, it could have been Russia that broke the Molotov-Ribbentrop pact and entire Europe could have eventually been consumed by the Russians. Do you think Stalin would've just stopped it to Germany had it been other way around? It's a very thin line here when we talk about two maniacal dictators. We are very lucky that Stalin executed his educated military leaders before starting the war that consequently led to western world siding with Russians.

  • @CullTheLivingFlower And no, Russia deserves no respect in WW2 because they were also one cause of it. If Soviets had not sided with Nazies before the war, I would share your opinion. I would even go so far and speculate that British and its western allies would've been fighting Russians alongside with Germans if Russian performance in Winter War wasn't so abysmal, which encouraged Hitler to start Operation Barbarossa.

  • @CullTheLivingFlower The "butthurt" comes from your stupid comments. Russia was just as bad as the Nazies. The difference is that Germany started the war of aggression by breaking the Molotov-Ribbentrop pact, which was partly due to how poorly Russia fared against Finland in the winter war. Finland was fighting as co-belligerent with Germans. There never was a formal alliance.

Your comments make it look like that it is "weird" to root for those who are righteous and fighting for survival

  • @Tadpolek When did I say that USA declared war on Finland? The fact is that, however tentative, the alliances broke down to Germany-Finland vs Britain-Russia. I really don't get why all you people are so butthurt. I just found it interesting that we all root for Finland and are proud of their victory when if it wasn't for Russia and it's valiant effort against the Germans there is a very good chance Germany would have won WW2.

The USSR rarely gets the respect it is due for it's part in WW2.

  • @CullTheLivingFlower I love how you are so proud that no organisation or country did effectively nothing to prevent USSR starting hostilities in 1939 or the Soviet attempt to invade Finland. Don't forget Finland is democratic country that respects human rights unlike USSR.

I know it's more to do with rooting for the winners, but it's interesting nonetheless.

Maybe it's because they know the history behind it and you do not. USA never declared war on Finland.

  • @myvidutube its häyhä noy hayha :)
