wow. great job. i was considering competing in this. I have a few questions though. How do you set up a wifi camera? i have not used the m before, but have eperience with radio ones. also, what are the advantages and disadvantages of biped and quadraped designs? Lastly, is there an age regulation for the competition?

AAGH!!! I'm drooling. Dude, throw some lasers on it and put a small camera on it so We can Watch You driving around, from it's perspective. But DEFINITELY VERY VERY KICK ASS.
Are You going to give it one of those War Hammer" paint jobs and put some "English Horn Flags" on (hanging from) the barrels and 3 "Samurai War Flags" hanging off of the back. Either way keep making videos. Take care!

Hmmm... Perhaps youtube comments isn't the best place to discuss this. There are a couple forums that come to mind... Lynxmotion and Trossen...

very f'ing awesome dude
there was meant to be a contest in america this summer for rc mechs like this with a scale city battle map
basicallly better robot wars, but i cant find site anymore (any ideas?)
also have you tried inverting the knees so its more like an ed 209/vulture type legs
aparently this helps in increasing possible stride lengths of robots

You're thinking of Mech Warfare, a Google search will bring the website to the top. The knees are actually symmetrical, and at least for this design it allows the maximum stride possible.
