Awesome! I'm going to dye my hair with henna -the bottom layer- and my mum is arab and she knows how to make her own henna (: my question is: I have really dark brown hair, will the dye still turn out red?

loll your daughter is sooo beautiful and funny! can you use drug store dyes after using henna?? like just on the roots or all over to brighten it up? aka loreal hair dye x]

what are those three yellow bottle things u adding to the henna?
-
do you have light hair? cuz i have dark brown hair and i was wondering if the results would be even nearly as drastic as yours turned out, or at least if there will be a visible change to dark toned hair

Mix the last group of stuff in until it's thick yogurt like consistency, and apply. Then wrap your head up with plastic wrap and maybe a winter hat you don't care if it gets ruined, and let that sit on your head 4-8 hours. My first time doing this, I went to bed at 10am and woke up at 6 to rinse it out. I covered my pillow with old towels in case I dripped at all.

I used 300g Yemen Henna (from Mehandi . com)
3 8oz lemon juice bottles (the kind next to the lemons in the produce area)
water until correct consistency.
Wait 8-12 hours for dye release, be sure it's covered with plastic wrap while it sits.
Add in a little tea with cinnamon-like spices (brew it up and let it cool to warm ~ hot could cause issues with the dye)
Add any extra spices you may like how they smell with the henna (mostly to make it smell better)
Honey or agave nectar
Could u help me out please?
I bought black henna from NOORANI ,im not sure if I should use it because it doesnt have ingreidents listed and it doesnt say anything on the box about it being 100% or pure. I dont know if i should use it on my hair, what do u think?

It says black on it, so that makes me initially think that it's been mixed with something, and without ingredients to say it was mixed with indigo, I would assume it is a compound henna.
SO, if you want to use it, just don't color over it with anything but pure henna products or it could react on a chemical level and leave you with different colors.
Also, if you've colored your hair with chemicals and the color is still visible on your hair right now, it could react badly.

So, you can try it, but results may not be exact. You may have to wait for it to grow out or use 100% henna products until it's grown out, if you want other color.
