Very interesting bud... I'm gonna have to give this a try when I start netting again, I've only really used Acid/Vegas.

Actually Adobe Audition is the latest version of Cool Edit Pro... Adobe bought the program awhile back and didn't make many changes to it at all so all these tips should work with Cool Edit as well!

I used to have that problem too when I first started... I can't remember exactly what I did but it was either the adapters that I used weren't contacting properly into the sound card or if the sound card was bad... check you mic input jack and make sure that it's not next to the power supply cord. That can produce a nasty hiss in the recording when you amplify it. If that don't solve the problem, make sure you turn the Mic Boost off in your sound settings... that may help as well.

I've been trying to learn how to do this for a couple of months now..thanks to you, I think I can work this program better. Thank you, this was by far the best tutorial! And I've watched bunches. Now if I can just learn to do the videos, I'll be happy! Thanks again for the tutorial!
