This rare video clip is from the movie "Surf Party" which also featured the Astronauts and many other great groups. This is the only known video of The Routers which included their incredible drummer, Randy Viers, Lynn Frazier on sax (far left), Michael Z. Gordon on guitar (middle) http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1140093/
Al Kait is on lead guitar, and Doug is on bass (far right). The Routers were founded by Gordon who went on to become a successful movie producer. Gordon won two BMI Awards for his songs, "Apologize" and "Out Of Limits" by the Marketts, one of two groups founded by Gordon during his six years touring with The Routers and The Marketts

@michaelzstuff It was Surf Party. Fox Movie Channel showed it a couple of years ago and I copied it using a dvd recorder. Unfortunately the first part of it is missing. I got a little over an hour of it.

Thanks for posting. I watched a dvd this morning that had a portion of Surf Party recorded off tv a couple of years ago. Was good seeing the Routers and Astronauts on there.
