Community Conversation: Mass Memories Roadshow @ RPL

The Mass. Memories Road Show is a state-wide digital humanities project that documents Massachusetts history through family photographs and stories.

In partnership with local historical societies, schools, libraries, senior centers, public access television stations and volunteers, we organize public events to scan family photographs and digitally videotape the stories behind the photos. The images and video are indexed and incorporated into an online educational database at http://www.massmemories.net. Since its launch, the project has gathered more than 1,300 photographs and stories from across the state. 28:19
