@tomtomttom Following your words blindly, we'll have to conclude that Rev. MLK Jr supported slavery, since he refused, for himself, to take any path that'ld include violent actions by him.
Jesus didn't condemn resistance for self-defence, but also didn't teach that violence would be beneficial, or that we have a possibility of making this world "peachy-keen". His ending certainly wasn't, and he asked God to remove this "cup" of death, but then ack'd that God won't always do this.
@tomtomttom Jesus supported slavery, you claim, but w/o providing any New Test. or Gospel refs, and we're supposed to blindly believe YOU? Get real! Prove your claims by providing the refs for the Gospel passages in which it's said that he supported slavery? Otherwise, you expose yourself for or as a FOOL who lies, makes up fantasy stories, distortions, etc.
He said "Man's law is NOT God's law", and made it clear we have no miraculous healing of our world, and we don't!
@tomtomttom Who said I'm some complacent and thereby complicit school-bench Christian, and who ever said that Jesus or God control any of our lives? They don't! You're balony and surely hypocrisy.
Jesus, the Nazarene, would tell his disciples to not start religious wars, but you people all have to preach, proselytize, each in your own ways; all little sermoners. Meanwhile, I only tell so-called Christians to cease proselytizing, and you bitch about that. That's very cute.
The dead spectacles will remain a beacon for the dominant primate. The success is conflict.
