Anyways, sounds like your problem might be in the v.c.o. stage. either bad solder joint or, componet or, whoever was inside to convert it to 11 meters messed with the v.c.o. can or cap. find out what your vco voltage is suppose to be and check with a digital volt meter if v.c.o. voltage is not correct then radio wont track for crap. good luck.

just today my sister calls me and says she has a box for me from my half brother who buys out unpaid storage units or something like that. she said it has bunch of cb stuff to give to me. well, along with a nice realstic trc 421a, i found still in its plastic ..never used... galaxy 99v and cardboard box with power cord and brackets and mic. i cant believe it lol. never opened the only thing missing is, the box it came in. cool. !
