Since I heard this from a friend of a friend it may not be true, but since those B/D/H series motors spun Counter Clockwise, I think some other Honda Series motors besides B/D/H were also Counter Clockwise, anyway I heard about a guy who put a B16 into his non honda car, but somehow used the original Cars transmission So he ended up with 4 or 5 reverse gears and one forward gear, or something like that, probably not true but still funny to think about.

People who are into cars but haven't driven alot of cars NEVER get this. You don't have to have a Veyron to have a VERY fun & fast Trackday/DD car, My friend Mike has a Honda from that era, a 2000 SI that's Stripped & only has Basic mods, FULL exhaust from the headers to the muffler, intake, Coilovers,I drove it at a track day and I had a blast, I like how on those Honda B/D/H series motors in that era spin counterclockwise so the headers face the front.

@RPXXPR I live in central California. It makes me miserable sometimes but the driving experience is still great. Along with the fuel rail and the cold air induction the power is good and I added Eibach suspension, lowering and camber kits to it to get it down to 22 inches. It handles well. The power is not race capable but I have always been more for reliability and handling.

Damn, that's VERY light, that's like LOTUS Elise light. I don't know where you live but I HAD to keep my A/C or I wouldn't enjoy my car.

I think you meant the R34 was 3800lbs, I didn't remember the curb weight so I just googled it, The R32, IMO, was the best Skyline, not for it's looks, but for it's overall driving experience, and the R32 was the last one where they kept weight at a decent level. The problem with the R35, and I haven't really been up to date on it, despite it's AWD it's incredibly hard to get a decent 1/4mile time, and those fixes I believe void the warranty.

I just really hope that the other Japanese manufacturers follow suit and decide to go back to the smaller format cars. The only others I liked recently were the Honda CRZ and the Mitsubishi Lancer X Sportback. The new Subarus look like a retarded child designed the bodywork. Sad really given how aggressive the old Imprezas used to look. Europe and the US have been designing nothing but lead bricks as of late (with the exception of Lotus). You would think engineers would understand power/weight.

@RPXXPR Yeah I was able to get my 95 Civic Coupe EX down to 2400 but I didnt get to keep the AC while doing it. Had to remove pretty much everything and replace a few things like the radiator, that idiotic ducting system for the intake and a few other things.

Very True, and it's a shame, if it's got an A/C that's all the luxury I need in a sports car. I live in South Florida and I don't think I could have much fun in a 140 degree car Cabin.

@RPXXPR Yeah but that is the current crop of Japanese cars. The R34 and 32 were both 2800. The Lancer Evolutions before the 10 were below 3000. For some reason each crop of cars progressively becomes heavier. I suspect that is due to the push for luxury in performance vehicles which is one of those concepts which defies logic. As for understeer that can be programmed out with one way differentials and the Nissan Attesa System or the Mitsubishi ACD/AYC.
did any one else think it sounded almost exactly like the trueno...

they should keep the legendary straight six, and some how make it better, like the 2jz but upgraded, along the lines of the supra, so it would be easier to add mods, and carries the same pride... and also fuck scion, this car should be strictly under Toyota..
