  • @arohn2007 There are no yellow pixels. I used a 400x magnifying video camera on my 52" Aquos, there are only blue, red, and green pixels. As a recent purchaser, I feel like I have been scammed. I like the picture on the TV but Sharp is lying about the yellow pixels.

  • You're apparently blind. If you own a QUATTRON there is not only a yellow pixel. The way the pixels are arranged in the screen differs from traditional screens. No MAGNIFICATION NECESSARY.

I've studied this TV greatly, and closely. I've had a lot of opportunity to compare it to SAMSUNG, LG and Panasonic images, and the yellow pixel makes a visible, notable improvement to the entire yellow and blue regions of the palette. The pixel array also gives smoother edges and less visible pixels.

  • Why yellow? Might as well add in cyan and magenta and white while you're at it.

  • @teamforteress

You can see the differnce in the two tvs because the tvs were recorded with the same capture device.

  • Why does no one mention that the reason this works (and the reason they designed it this way) is less because you can create more colors, and more because of THE HUMAN EYE'S EXTREME SENSITIVITY TO YELLOW.

  • @MegaMaster456 I've got the LE810 series in the 46"

  • @arohn2007 more precisely, the LE820 series. :)

  • @MegaMaster456 So do I and I've NOT regretted the purchase whatsoever! :)

  • @taofledermaus are you using a Quattron TV? You can find out by checking whether your TV has a "Quattron" sticker. If it has, display something thats yellow in colour. The yellow pixel will only work if it detects yellow colours.

  • @arohn2007 true. I own a Quattron TV in real life actually.
