  • That was a nice 5 minute nap. thanks internet

  • cool bikes...steel bikes still sexy compared to carbon bikes

  • It's all about stiffness to weight ratio, not just pure weight.

  • 12 freaking pounds.... droool

  • i wonder if it has lugs..when i started getting into bike racing it was 1984 and just today i bought some shoes...its amazing how far things have come..just in my time..if you look at ole ritters bike compared to now..its like scince fiction times..but i think alot is lost in this passion for equipment now and how its marketed..you dont need a 12.000$ bike to have a good time and have something nice..all road bikes now seemed to made to climb the alps..

  • yes! this is true passione! espen

  • That's just over 11 pounds. That is very light. My kilo bike was just under 14, but those bikes have to withstand a violent start. The hour record is quite a different animal. Merckx surpassed the 5, 10, and 20k marks on the way to his hour record. Those distances are not targeted these days. Just the 1 and 4k, and the hour.

  • that's awesome
