CTW CR Roundtable - 2 (Dr. George Weiner)

On Thursday, May 7th SEIU / Change that Works held a roundtable discussion on health care coverage at the Marion Kirkwood Training and Outreach Services office. Speakers talked about Senator Grassley's vital role in health care reform. They also discussed the importance of passing a comprehensive health care reform bill that allows individuals the option of buying into a public plan. The event mirrored the recent roundtable meetings of the US Senate discussing health care delivery, coverage and financing.

This clip includes comments from Dr. George Weiner, the director of the University of Iowa Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center. Dr. Weiner talks about the importance of advances in medical research. Also, he talks specifically about the importance of comparative effectiveness research.
