So... if I'm understanding this correctly, you can go to medical school, get a direct commission upon graduation (or go to OTS?), and then complete residency in the air force?
I'm trying to get an idea of how this works.

Wow, some enlisted Snuffy must have put this carp together! No actual doc (other than the brown-nosers and fresh O3s) would agree with this overly rosy assessment of AF medicine. The real AF (or any other military medical branch) definitely does not work this way.
