I recently decided to try to fit a car stereo into a PC, here is the results.

does the cd player just slot right in or did you have to modify it

@clarkiejohn i had to modify it, it was a single din unit, but the drive bay was 5.25" i had to do some cutting, it wasnt too tough.

@confucious42 make sure uve got a good wattage power supply or it will cut out or over heat and may cause harwre damage

i have an idea so it will play through computer speakers plugged into the computer

i had to modify it a bit its like a quarter inch too wide if remember correctly

was it a perfect fit or you had to modify your case to fit the head unit
