can i just say that this song is great and it pisses me off when i see these little kids talk about oh ya this song i cut myself too and oh i think of killing myself. this song is not about any of that. i watched my brother get bullyed in school my whole life. and as i was there for him kickin ass thats what this songs about.... being there for the people you care about. if somone is really depressed be ther for them. do just say "hey i know a kid who knows a kid like this.... step up!!!!!!!!!!

I saw them in concert at Winterjam and he talked about one of his friends who felt horrible and now she is better bc she has Jesus in her life!! Last night at skillets concert he said this song was about a friend of his and his fiends parents called her mean bangers and said she was.worthless, no good and at skool things were worse and she got tired of waking up on the morning and he write this saying that hes there for her, but Jesus is too.

This song really impacted me.. I cut for the first time beause of a dark phase, for a week my parents ignored me. They found out and called me physco, I would lock myself in my room and fell asleep crying in the corner.
