The carriage of a gun for self-protection or the protection of others is a serious decision. There are many psychological, legal, civil, and logistical ramifications of your decision. This video encourages their consideration. If a responsible civilian makes this decision there a certain "rules of the road" that should be followed in order to best prevent the use of lethal force and represent the CCW/CCP community responsibly. There are good voices in the pro-self-defence community that talk to many these issues and I have been adding my voice to these in many videos. Here's another, foundational in nature. Contained herein are mine, based on my over 18 years as a Concealed Carry Permit holder (civilian capacity) in every state I've lived in during that time. Addressed in serious fashion are considerations of "no carry" or so-called "gun free" zones and areas (better termed FREE FIRE zones for bad guys, see my vid: "Gun Free, Death Pay" by Nutnfancy http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SEbXuwDiUSo), the carry attitude, interaction with law enforcement, open vs concealed carry considerations, engagement decisions and considerations, extraction and de-escalation of the confrontation, the psychological considerations of weapon employment as a civilian, and the mandate of proficiency. This is NOT legal advice, it is LIFE advice. It is for those good people who are willing to use lethal force under certain circumstances to save lives, most likely their own. The concealed carry permit holder serves to actually and demonstrably make society safer. It has been proven to reduce crime in all areas where it has been instituted and gives its practitioner OPTIONS. The permit holders are to be applauded for their commitment in responsibility and public safety. However, the weight of its responsibility is serious and should be thoughtfully considered on his or her own "scale of life" before embarking upon The Concealed Carry Protocol. //////////////// Music: http://www.partnersinrhyme.com

  • Great point made at around the 38:00 mark. Nobody buys a fire extinguisher for their home in the hopes that they may one day get to use it...

  • I think your the best voice behind when it comes to forgive me for my bad terminology gun responsibility and awareness and gun rights

  • My problem with the fact that a law-abiding citizen WOULD do the right thing during a routine traffic stop- turn off the engine, hands on steering wheel, dome light on, etc. is that an officer will still be wary of you, BECAUSE they understand that people may be doing so only to earn the officers trust, only to later catch the officer off guard later on during the stop, and open fire. An officer has to be ready for anything.

  • 20:14 Right here baby

  • @kenji214245 Poor ass? Check the standard of living for China and compare it to the U.S friend, your country has so many ppl that you are far beyond the carrying capacity to support everyone, thus the one child rule. Stick to watching dragon ball z and leave Y.T discussions about firearms to the big boys/girls. And for the accident to suicide ratio, you are wrong again. I thought a China man/woman like yourself would be much better with numbers, guess not >.< Animated cartoons rock!!!!

  • @steelcurtain41286 yeah thats why china owns your poor ass because you rock!!!

also what is interesting is that Europe created the US fucked up big time and then as a last resort we sent a large amount of smart people there hoping get something out of it which we somewhat did. Now we are watching this big teenager learn by his own mistakes...oh and most americans get hurt or killed in accidents even more kill them selfs in suicide. crime is just a small portion of it

  • @Makkealamarkus Yeah, shit works so well in oppressive nations like China. And shit works so well in London when riots brake out and innocent people's property is destroyed, and the riots continued for far longer than they should have because neither the police nor the citizens had the power to deal with them and protect themselves. Yeah, shit works SO much better everywhere else, the US really must be doing something wrong.

  • Everywhere else shit works without people having guns in their pockets, but in america......

That place must be fucked :P

  • @kenji214245 And now we are the most powerful nation in the world, both technologically and socially. Have fun watching youtube, an AMERICAN product!! Don't hate mate ;)

  • @steelcurtain41286 hide and seek** funny you Europeans love to watch our American media and emulate what we do. Like I said before your just jealous, and it's ok mate. We broke free from you idiots

  • @kenji214245 LOL stupid, coming from a person who cannot construct a sentence or spell to save their life LOL, but we can play hide and seed, I'll go in a corner with my G27 and hopefully you find me!
