@tonydhelms29642 I really liked your speech. It was very touching.

In the words of Forrest Gump (this is for Carlin, by the way), "If there's anything you need, I won't be far away."

@tonydhelms29624 You are correct, George Carlin was atheist.

I wish that his death was all just a bad dream and I also wish that he was still alive and well when any Carlin fan wakes up the next day when the bad dream is over. Anyway, I listened to some of his skits and I thought that the skits were quite good. I also enjoyed him him as Fillmore in "Cars", Mr. Conductor on "Shining Time Station", and as a Thomas The Tank Engine narrator. We're going to miss you, George. RIP Buddy! It's not going to be same without you.

Poetry and Philosophy are beautiful AND powerful things, but your quote does little to answer his question.
It's a vague way of saying: You don't know, you don't want to know, but everyone else ought to agree.
Ever consider that your the darkness? And the "light" is everyone telling you that you don't have to live to please a judgmental external being? YOU ARE GOD....WORSHIP YOURSELF!!!!
Nevermind...I doubt your going to comprehend it.....but you WILL rationalize it!!

I love you George. To think a comedian could make me cry.....You really do embody all that is balanced with life...The Yin and Yang, Positive and Negative.....THIS is what life is about, balance.
i wonder what he said when he met god
