I agree with PuRpLeSmUrF05, Collectors like it when its all used and rusted cus it just shows the age and the history if you were to clean it up it would just look like a knife that you bought at walmart with no history or age. If they wanted it to look pretty dont you think they would just buy a new one?

did you get all the rust off that knife? If so what did you use??? I have alot of OLD knives that need rust cleaned off of them... Mostly OLD folders though, Case, Buck things like that...

@SupaFlyFatGuy859 I used around 100 grit sandpaper. I took off enough rust to make it look better without taking it down to bare metal. This knife was not that valuable. I would probably leave a valuable one alone. Will

You wouldn't want to clean the knife up? From watching Pawn Stars...they always say self restoration like taking a wire brush to take off the rust or something..takes away from the value

@PuRpLeSmUrF05 In this case, since the knife is not very valuable, I think a little cleaning would improve the value.
