One of the most inspiring passages from Homage to Catalonia, sums up the hope Spanish revolution very well... shame such hope was so brutally dashed by the Stalinists

This was a heart-wrenching book. You really felt like something new, fresh, and brilliant for all mankind was on the horizon.
And then it all falls away in betrayal. Amazing book.

If only that were the case today. Instead we have a situation where its Solialism for the rich and Capitolism for the poor. Where the masses are bailing out the rich bankers that fucked their capitolist system up in the first place.
