  • David gray is probably one of the best at what he does, alright some dodgy lyrics at times which he admits himself, but just an amazing sound in anything he does,as for overproducing i think your wrong their mate,i have been following David gray since his first gig in ireland way back in the day in whealens and i personally think every album he does is better than his last, thats why he keeps changing his musicans,to find that all elusive different sound that all singer- songwriters try and find

  • Dear Simon Cowell

Have a listen to some real singing, not that shite you call talent.

    Yours Sincerely

Someone who really knows what he's talkin about.

  • Do not listen to davidlynch he is a confused , I don't like beiber and I have never been on any of his pages , he is jealous

  • Your mental I love his lyrics deep stuff.

  • Dodgy lyrics? he's fucking brilliant

Need to take some pride baby, need to take some heart

Need to take evasive action, when the rumpus start

Here we are buck naked, yeah but

    Where should we begin

When it's not the flesh we're after

    But the howlin' ghost within

  • brilliant

  • @eightballreid Isn't this song written by Allan MacColl? (either way, I agree, David is amazing at what he does.)

  • Awsum :)

  • can anyone get the gpro tab for this guitar?id kill for it

  • amazing. sounds just as good as the studio version.

  • Dodgy lyrics, in that they require some thought perhaps. This song is excellent lyrically. How many songs do you know that use the words, lichen or rumpus or the phrase a carnival of silverfish? Not many. I'm not easily impressed with the vast majority of lyricists today, but well, I will have to examine David Gray's songs more closely. I've heard My Oh My by Warren Haynes who I feel has better phrasing than David for it, but this song perks my interest to get a few of David's cds.

  • Country Rock???? Not hardly. No dogs dying here. David Gray is one of the greatest musicians to come out in the early 2000's. Even though I have a sampler from caroline records dating back to 1993 with him on it. He has always been great & just gets better & better with time. No fading away with David gray......
