1000 yrd javelina

javelina i shot at 1000 yds using a 338 edge shooting a 300gr SMK and a panasonic 32x optical zome with a 2x doubler for 64x optical zome.

@CritterShooter watch the vapor trail.. the bullet goes as high as the top of the feeder before dropping on target... 1000 easy.

for everyone saying that this wasnt 1000 yards, if you listen and watch, it takes about 2 seconds for the bullet to reach the target. now if we consider that a .338 travels on average 2000fps or so over the course of the trajectory (2700fps at muzzle minus wind resistance), thats 2000x2=4000, and as most people can figure out 4000 feet is around 1333 yards, thus the shot could have easily been 1000 yards.

Your welcome mate! I myself have shot at 1200 and hit with the 338 lupua threw a AI rifle and I said it then when my falling plate dissapeared in a puff lol.
