I scream for liberty, my passion to be free
to keep me standing tall and uphold this unity
i dont know what to do, i feel so boxed up unable to sue
my rights as a citizen seem to not be true
its like we left are morales at the door
it saddens me what i see around no more
people acting like hardwork is profound
the entitlement of man hands slam down to pound
to be given it for free is not our destiny
for the direction this country goes
is blurry to my eyes, i'm scared of what will become
as forewarned by our fathers. cotton in our ears
as one hopes to see, a revolution to set this country free.
we will no more sit around and lose our dignity.
we the people, are the people.
