  • Voice potential and certainly the octaval range is there... the high note at the climax was good, but sounds like she held back a bit... I think she's got more power in her voice than this video gives her credit for. Nervous, maybe? (It would explain the skipped/twisted lyrics.)

  • @gokkaratt82

Well, it was over 5 years ago and she had just turned 13. She was very nervous. The high Ab is a tad sharp, but the rest was a breakthrough point for her that night. (Some lyrics were cut to get the song under 3 min.)

  • Uhm, I don't think you had a very full voice. it was beautiful, but not for this kind of song. I think you could do things like taylor Swift songs. Good job though.

  • Laura had just turned 13 the week before and this was the first time she had been invited to sing at the Miss Solano County Pageant, so yes, her lack of experience showed. Check her out a year later in 2006 (age 14), and you'll hear a big difference.

  • Laura deffinatly has talent there. Being a singer myself, I know the courage that it takes to get up on a stage and pour out your heart for people that you barely or dont even know. Ignore any negative comments that people say. Have you ever seen Across the universe? I think she has the same tone as Evan Rachel Wood. Look up some of the songs she has done. They are beatles tunes. But Laura could really pull them off!

  • wow.. awesome =)

  • @Desiderea I know, rhythm has always been a challenge for me. ironically im a good dancer. lol

  • @chrissie275 I actually want to understand why you think it's quote "bull". Sure, I was a kid. I may not be meant for music. But bull? really? I'll chop that up to you having quite the bad day, and needing to bring someone down to feel better about yourself. Either tell me what you didn't like in a nice way or politely get help.

  • wow, it has so many views!! loll.

  • you are greayt

  • @LauraFedor ....you are NOT doing this gal a favor by telling her to ignore negative comments........constructive critism is how we all improve................realistically.......her tone was good, but she was pitchy, and very breathy......my suggestion to her is to not hold back........BELT IT OUT!!!....

  • aww very pretty =)
