if you haven't read the past comments, this is an irish dance switch leap. not related to the normal switch leap in gymnastics and other dance forms.

All some of the best dancers in the world, they ALL have a flat footed take off, its a split second thing that no judge would notice and i think its just a fact of life that you need to spring off of it to get any height at all
