@almightyseancore Some originals are just so hard to find. I have a couple of reissued vinyls and they sound the same. I think you being too anal. I like vinyl for the artwork and the music and you get that from vinyl!. Focus on the music and enjoy!

Music is the one thing that makes sense in this crazy world (to me anyway). It has no classes system, no language barrier, no prejudice attached to it. It's pure...

I hate being identified as a DJ by collecting records....I just love the artwork, the smell and the music...nothing compares. It is romantic....

@buddybopper And that is why I call my collection the discography of my life. With every record or CD I buy, I'm buying a piece of my life that will all be preserved. Sadly it will never be finished but I get closer every month.

@almightyseancore Yeah, I prefer the original pressings over the reissues. Especially when it comes to bands I love. I also agree with this guy about the emotional attachment to certain albums relating to certain periods of your life.

@mrhoffame i'm the same way. i have to watch it because it doesn't always fit my budget. i'm very anal about getting original pressings with all inserts intact. i feel like i'm cheating when i buy reprints.

It is a totally addiction. It can verge on OCD. It gets to the point where buying a new record for your collection becomes more important than the music itself. If you don't pay attention, It can really take over your life. It has mine!
